Head of New Business Development

Giri is Head of New Business Development at NEAM Limited and is responsible for the Firm's new business development efforts in Europe, focused on insurance company investment and capital management capabilities. He joined the Firm in 2026, having previously worked at BlackRock, where he was a member of the Institutional Capital Formation team responsible for driving business development with institutional clients in the Western US across BlackRock’s private markets franchises (Private Equity, Private Credit and Real Assets, incl. Infrastructure). Prior to this, he spent a decade in BlackRock’s insurance asset management business (FIG) in London, where he held a variety of senior roles and covered European and global insurance clients. Giri is a CFA charterholder and holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. He has been employed in the investment industry since 2004.
