The Gerard T Lynch Scholarship Fund
NEAM’s Scholarship Fund raises college tuition money for promising students in financial need in the Hartford area, in honor of our late founder Gerard “Jerry” Lynch.
Supporting the Next Generation in Hartford
The memorial scholarship supports college-bound students from the Hartford area throughout four years of college or university, helping motivated young people pursue and complete their degrees. Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate both academic achievement and a commitment to their local community – values that reflect the principles that guide NEAM’s work.
Applicants are evaluated based on involvement in after-school programs, paid or volunteer work, and other extracurricular activities.
We’re proud that this scholarship advances the firm’s long‑standing support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford by giving priority to applicants who have been active club members.
Honoring Our Heritage
Jerry Lynch founded the firm in Hartford in 1984. Our memorial scholarship fund is a direct expression of our roots and our commitment to the community where the firm began and continues its legacy.
In Memory of Jerry Lynch
Jerry valued compassion, integrity, and personal connection, leaving a lasting impact on his family, friends, and colleagues. This scholarship is our small way of honoring his memory by giving back to the community where he built the firm and shaped so many lives.
